Meet Bridget: A Woman on a Mission

Bridget leads CoreGiving, an organization supporting hunger relief throughout the United States, including Central Florida.

In Bridget’s role as CoreGiving Executive Director, she unites thousands of employees for an annual day of service. For the last two years, they’ve spent their day of service at the Food Bank.

“Our annual day of service unites over 2,000 employees from Blackstone and several of its real estate portfolio companies to fight hunger in communities across the U.S.,” Bridget says. “In Central Florida, we had over 70 volunteers packing food boxes.”

Meet Viviane: A Woman on a Mission

Viviane was inspired to fight hunger during the COVID-19 pandemic, so she volunteered. And she hasn’t stopped.

“I started at Second Harvest, and I just fell in love,” Viviane says.

Meet Terri: A Woman on a Mission

Women’s History Month is a time to celebrate the resilience, contributions, and accomplishments of women in our community. This March, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida will highlight several women on a mission to make a difference for their neighbors facing hunger.

Terri always wanted to get involved with hunger relief efforts. She waited for the right opportunity to combine her passion and vocation.

“I wanted to see where my culinary skills could help,” Terri explains.
