Who We Are
About Us
Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is a private, nonprofit organization that collects, stores and distributes food to a network of more than 800 feeding partners across seven counties: Brevard, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia.
These partners include food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, senior centers, schools, healthcare sites and more. Mobile distributions, home deliveries and nutrition programs extend this reach even further, helping ensure that nutritious food gets to neighbors where and when it’s needed most.
But food is just the beginning. Through innovative programs, Second Harvest helps address the root causes of hunger. Career Pathways prepares adults facing barriers to employment for sustainable careers through hands-on training, career readiness and connections to local employers, while the Benefits Connection Program helps neighbors access SNAP and other nutrition resources to stretch limited budgets.
With the support of generous donors, dedicated volunteers and a caring community, Second Harvest provided enough food for 82 million meals last year.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida’s 2024–2026 strategic direction focuses on four key goals: Feed, Nourish, Unite, and Empower — to increase access to nutritious food, support healthy choices, inspire action, and help neighbors achieve financial stability.
