Culinary Training Program
Students enrolled in the free, 16-week program gain valuable hands-on experience inside a professional commercial kitchen, guided by award-winning chef instructors.

The program includes a life skills curriculum that covers financial literacy, resume writing, interviewing skills, teamwork, communication, goal setting, and more, complementing the practical skills acquired in the kitchen. Throughout the program, students are engaged in all aspects of a professional cooking environment that includes safety and sanitation, knife skills, following recipes, and working under time constraints. While in the program, Students receive wrap-around support, connecting them with resources to assist their educational journey. Once complete with the program, students are equipped with the knowledge to gain entry-level prep-cook roles providing them with stable employment to begin progressing in a fulfilling and fast-paced career in food service.
Since 2013, more than 525 graduates have completed the program, creating a positive ripple effect in their lives, their families and the overall community.

Distribution Center Training Program
Students enrolled in the free, 12-week program gain hands-on experience inside a fully operational, multi-temperature warehouse facility. They engage in all aspects of warehouse operations, including safety, inventory management, storage, receiving, shipping, and cost control.
The life skills curriculum prepares students for work readiness, emphasizing appropriate work behaviors, financial literacy, resume writing, interviewing skills, teamwork, communication, stress relief, time management, goal setting, and more.

Upon completion, students have the basic knowledge and equipment skills necessary to pursue entry-level positions in food distribution or warehouse facilities, creating a pool of qualified talent for local employers.
