The saying, “When it rains, it pours,” rings true for neighbors already living paycheck to paycheck and juggling a new health diagnosis, a surprise rent increase, or an unexpected car repair.

“I come here to put food on the table for my family,” explains Jennifer, a mom with a mountain of medical bills. “I can pay my bills or feed my children, but I can't always afford both.”
Your kindness helps mobilize a critical response for families like Jennifer's during a financial storm. Second Harvest semi-trucks filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, lean meats and other essential grocery items drive into church parking lots, community centers and stadiums daily. Then, volunteers help unload, pack and distribute food to neighbors.
