Ready for it? Two โ€œFearlessโ€ Swifties have โ€œKarmaโ€ on their side after raising funds beyond their โ€œWildest Dreamsโ€ to fight hunger in Central Florida!!!

The New Orleans sixth-graders entered their giving era with their Virtual Food Drive inspired by their trip to Taylor Swiftโ€™s Eras Tour stop in their city this fall.

Charlotte,12, and Cecelia, 11, supported Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida because Floridians were recovering from hurricanes Helene and Milton.

โ€œIn Louisiana, weโ€™ve experienced hurricanes, so we know what itโ€™s like,โ€ Charlotte said.

In honor of Taylorโ€™s favorite number, the girls set their fundraising goal at $1,313, which they exceeded. All told, the money raised by their drive will provide 6,680 meals to Central Florida families facing hunger.

โ€œItโ€™s really important,โ€ Cecelia said. โ€œSome people donโ€™t have as much food as they need, and weโ€™re fortunate.โ€

โ€œSome (Florida) homes flooded, and people didnโ€™t have any extra money for food when their fridges didnโ€™t work,โ€ Charlotte added.

They created a video to promote their fundraiser, including Taylor Swift music and the girls in Eras-inspired outfits out and about in New Orleans to welcome fans to the Crescent City. Watch their creativity below.

It was shared by local news stations and public officials, as well as Second Harvestโ€™s own social media channels. Charlotte and Cecelia said the popular video helped them exceed their goal.

โ€œIt was almost all new people weโ€™ve never met,โ€ Cecelia said of the donors. โ€œIt felt good.โ€

Taylor Swiftโ€™s philanthropy and kindness were their inspiration, the girls agreed.

โ€œSheโ€™s a very good example, and sheโ€™s very generous,โ€ Cecelia said. โ€œAnd we wanted to help, too.โ€

Taylor has donated to food banks located in the communities of her Eras Tour stops, as well as to support disaster relief work following hurricanes Harvey, Helene and Milton.

Charlotte and Cecilia donโ€™t plan to stop serving their community and fighting hunger anytime soon and encourage others to do the same.

โ€œYou donโ€™t have to be an adult to do something,โ€ Cecelia said. โ€œYou can still do it when youโ€™re still a kid.โ€

The girls plan to continue fighting hunger by volunteering at their local food bank and raising funds again.

โ€œIt was definitely a good experience,โ€ Charlotte said.
