Meet Bridget: A Woman on a Mission

Share

Bridget leads CoreGiving, an organization supporting hunger relief throughout the United States, including Central Florida.

In Bridget's role as CoreGiving Executive Director, she unites thousands of employees for an annual day of service. For the last two years, theyโ€™ve spent their day of service at the Food Bank.

“Our annual day of service unites over 2,000 employees from Blackstone and several of its real estate portfolio companies to fight hunger in communities across the U.S.,” Bridget says. “In Central Florida, we had over 70 volunteers packing food boxes.”

Bridget finds the collective action of her organization and how their generosity multiplies inspiring โ€” CoreGiving has helped to provide more than 1.3 million meals to Central Florida kids, families and seniors facing hunger since 2021.

“I feel privileged to bring individuals, corporations and charitable organizations together in the fight against child hunger,” Bridget says. “I'm motivated to help children and families know that they're not alone in their time of need.”

CoreGiving volunteers and gives each year, but this year, they have taken their commitment even further by serving as the title sponsor at the 2024 Ultimate Garden Party.

“Nutritious food is a basic human need โ€” vital for survival,” Bridget says. “So, it's fair to say that Second Harvest is saving lives.”

With Bridget's leadership, CoreGiving continues to impact even more neighbors facing hunger.
