Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart of the mission to fight hunger. Every year, thousands of individuals, families, and groups help sort, pack, and distribute food to neighbors across Central Florida. Whether you're signing up for one shift or planning to volunteer regularly, your time makes a real difference.
If you're a returning volunteer, consider stepping into a leadership role as a Volunteer Captain to help welcome and guide others during their shifts.
Host a Food & Fund Drive
Organize a traditional or virtual food drive through your workplace, school, place of worship, or community group. Every can, dollar, and share helps provide meals.
Tours and Events
Second Harvest events bring the community together to support the mission — and they’re fun! Attend an upcoming event or host one of your own to benefit Second Harvest.
Shop
Show your passion for fighting hunger through official Second Harvest merchandise — or participate in eBay for Charity or Shop & Share opportunities that give back.
Plate Above Catering
Host your next special occasion with Plate Above Catering. Whether you're booking catering, reserving our event venue, or both, you'll create lasting memories while supporting the Culinary Training Program.
Advocate
Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is committed to ending hunger — but lasting change takes all of us. Advocacy helps advance local, state and national policies that improve access to nutritious food for children, families, seniors and others experiencing food insecurity.
Young Professionals Committee
If you're between the ages of 21 and 40 and passionate about giving back, join our Young Professionals Committee. You’ll volunteer, advocate, network, and have fun while making a difference.
Become a Feeding Partner
Our Partner Agency Network is a coalition of organizations that help distribute food across seven counties in Central Florida. Partner Agencies have an established partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank and provide food to neighbors facing hunger on a regular basis.
