Now Open: Expanded Brevard Branch

Share

With the generous support of people like you, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida recently opened a new, larger distribution center in Melbourne.

โ€œNo one should have to worry or think all the time about when their next meal is going to be or that theyโ€™re hungry,โ€ says Keri, a school guidance counselor. Partnering with Second Harvest has been a lifeline for the students and families in her Port St. John community.

With Keriโ€™s sentiment in mind, the new Brevard Branch:

  • Increases capacity to secure and store perishable food and grocery products by 50%
  • Improves warehouse efficiency to support 87 local feeding partners
  • Provides onsite volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups

Because of generous community support, Second Harvest will continue to be a beacon of hope for kids, families and seniors facing hunger in Brevard County.

Your support makes an impact across Central Florida.
