In collaboration with over 750 local feeding partners, Second Harvest Food Bank has begun providing disaster meals to the hardest-hit areas in our community. The food bank is operational and is working at an 'above and beyond' level to provide sustaining nutrition for families, kids and seniors impacted by Hurricane Milton.
Food distribution to feeding partners is ramping up, and mobile food distributions are being deployed in the hardest-hit areas to get food to neighbors as quickly as possible.
The calls for additional food assistance have only just begun and will increase daily as families try to get back on their feet again. For some of our neighbors, this can take weeks or months. Now more than ever, you can bring stability and hope to families, children, and seniors in your community. Thank you for your support.
Thank you so much for your ongoing support. Check this page or follow us on Facebook for future updates.
If you are in need for food assistance, please visit our food finder tool to locate an open feeding partner near you. Distributions may not resume immediately after the storm and some areas may take longer to reopen. We recommend trying to contact a partner before visiting their location.Use the Food Locator to find a feeding partner near you.
